# Speed exceeded It is a function that records when the vehicle exceeds a certain speed. For this feature to work, you need to set a speed limit at which your vehicles must not exceed. Click **"Vehicles"** in the Menu located on the left side of the Contele Fleet, select the vehicle you want to configure the speed limit and click the **Pencil icon** Go to the field **"Vehicle Events"** and enter the speed limit that the vehicle cannot exceed. | Determine a tolerance on the speed limit so that you do not receive notifications of minor excesses, for example, if you do not want your vehicles to travel above 110 km/h, enter the value of 115 km/h in the field.
