Types of Product Transfers

Contele Field Team Manager Products function aims to facilitate the transition of products, equipment, and materials by the User to a registered Place.

To register the entry and exit of Products from the system, the Transfers function was created to register this action.

Types of Transfers

You need to understand that the transfer works by setting two parameters:

  • Origin: Where the Product is leaving from.
  • Destination: Where the Product will be transferred.

To configure the transfer there are 4 options that you can use to create a certain action.

1. Origin

  • Stock: Place where the Products are gathered;
  • Purchase: Represents the entry in a certain place;
  • Place: Departure from a certain address;
  • User: Transfer of a User to a certain place;

2. Destination

  • Stock: The destination is stock again.
  • Delete: You are removing the Product from its place of origin to nowhere (in case the
    Product spoils, breaks down, etc.)
  • Place: Sending the Product to a certain address;
  • User: Delivering the Product to a User.

Transfer Example

Imagine that you have made the following configuration:

Inventory > Exclude

This means that you are excluding a Product from your inventory for a certain reason.

There are many combinations that can be made:

User to User, Stock to User, Purchase to Stock, etc.

Allow User to Transfer Articles from Company Stock

It is possible to allow the User to make transfers with the company's stock, thus eliminating the need to transfer products for each User.

To enable this permission, go to Settings > Your Company, and locate the Permissions section.

Enable the option 'Allow User to transfer company stock during visits'.
